Here at the Holidays for Couples HQ we’re all really excited about our new #h4csnap15 Photo Contest. But, we were also a little disappointed that we couldn’t enter our favourite travel snaps! So, here they are. We hope you like them and don’t forget to enter the competition to show us your favourite travel snap.

Rhonda Bannister, Editor in Chief:

“This photo brings back wonderful memories of our days spent walking the parks, lane ways and avenues of Paris, my favourite city in the world.”

Amy Wilson, Production Account Manager:

“This is my favourite photo – it’s of the sunset in Ayampe, Ecaudor. I like the sunlight coming through the clouds and it was a really cool place.”

Soso village, Fiji

Nichola Davies, Digital Content Producer / Staff Writer:

“This photo was taken in Soso village in the remote Yasawa Islands, Fiji. Don, the man in the photo, is the School Headmaster at Soso. He took a moment out from his day off spent tending to the school grounds to have a chat to me. I love hearing the stories of the locals while travelling.”

The Grand Canyon, USA

Jessica Morman, Intern:

“I love this photo because it reminds me that there is so much to be discovered, to look forward to and aim towards. Experiencing the new corners and natural beauty of this world is absolutely liberating and so exciting.”

Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Chloe Bassett, Digital Content Producer:

“The picturesque canals of Amsterdam have captured my heart forever. The neighbourhood of Jordaan, where this shot was taken (avid photographers take note!), almost always has less crowds so it’s definitely worth visiting. There’s nothing more romantic than an afternoon stroll or bike ride through the canals and exploring all this beautiful city has to offer.”

Byron Bay, New South Wales

Natasha Pavez, Freelancer:

“I’m a Byron Bay lady at heart, and this was taken on my last visit to the lighthouse. I love it because it reminds me of home – the grass, ocean and sky all look like a concentrated hit of colour, and that’s true of every memory I have of NSW’s Northern Rivers.”

Mexico City, Mexico
Mexico City, Mexico

Lynn Hill, Business Development Manager:

“This one was watching Mayan Street Dancers in Mexico City outside the Catedral Metropolitana the oldest and largest cathedral in Latin America. I love the colours and the drama of the shot.”
