With Virgin Atlantic Airways’ new fleet of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners comes a range of new benefits including specialised mood lighting, increased seat sizes, a new ‘Wander Wall’ concept in Premium Economy, plus a walk-up bar in Upper Class.
According to Gia Acitelli, Regional General Manager South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand at Virgin Atlantic Airways, the Premium Economy seats are leather and have seen an upgrade to 38 inches. Additionally, in Premium Economy Virgin Atlantic Airways is offering pre-flight Champagne, a la carte dining, after-dinner liqueurs and laptop power in every seat.
With the new Wander Wall located in the front cabin, travellers can help themselves to a selection of magazines, drinks and snacks during the flight and mingle at their leisure.
Upper Class has also been enhanced to include seats which recline into beds, a walk-up bar that also serves high tea during the day and restaurant quality meals.
