A luxury Singapore hotel with a dash of whimsy, Naumi Singapore offers a sky-high sanctuary in one of Southeast Asia’s favourite holiday playgrounds. The exclusive rooftop pool is reason enough to book a stay here! And what’s in a name? Naumi refers to the auspicious ‘9th day’ in Sanskrit and is pronounced know-me — a playful nod to the hotel’s unique personality.

The location:

Naumi Singapore enjoys a prime location in the heart of the Central Business District. It’s only a 20-minute ride from the airport, allowing you to check in and slip straight into holiday mode.

Nearby, you’ll find shops and photo-ops galore, including Raffles City shopping and the historic Raffles Hotel: birthplace of the famous Singapore Sling. Slide up to the Long Bar and sip this iconic cocktail as it was meant to be made. You can then stroll to must-see attractions including the excellent National Gallery of Singapore and Clarke Quay.

Not sure what to see and do in Singapore? Don’t worry, Naumi has you covered with the N9: a list of handpicked highlights including the Singapore Flyer, the vibrant Arab Street district, and the incredible Art Deco-inspired lobby & bar, Atlas.

With 73 luxurious rooms and suites designed especially for couples, you can’t go wrong! Each holds its own charm — from the understated luxury of the Oasis rooms to the golden wonderland of the Suvarna suites — and all feature a king bed adorned with sumptuous Egyptian cotton linens.

You’ll also be spoiled with Antipodes bath amenities, Apple TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, a yoga mat, Nespresso coffee machine, and complimentary mini bar (most rooms also have a decadent freestanding bathtub).

For couples on a romantic getaway, the designer-themed rooms and suites come highly recommended. Whether you choose the playful Pop Art accents of Eden & Nirwana or the chic minimalism of Gabrielle & Camellia, you’re sure to find your style sanctuary. Or, for a breath of fresh air, opt for the private outdoor space of a Patio room.

We stayed in a Camellia room, an excellent size for Singapore at 43 sqm. Camellia boasts a chic monochromatic aesthetic and a serene vibe, perfect after a busy day exploring this dynamic city. We loved the inspiration behind it, the iconic Coco Chanel who famously declared: “Luxury must be comfortable to truly be considered as such.” So true, especially when it comes to hotels!

Beautiful black-and-white floral art pieces featuring camellias (Coco’s favourite flower), were created through a collab between award-winning French photographer Olivier Henry and Singaporean artist Aiman. Stunning. We were also impressed by the deep, luxurious bathtub and cool room tech. Case in point? The bathroom’s glass panels that can be adjusted from transparent to opaque with the push of a button. Be sure to say yes to a room tour to discover all these hidden treasures.

One of the things that will truly impress you at Naumi is the elegant yet easy luxury vibe. It’s artful, unique, and makes you feel indulged and pampered without feeling stuffy. The hotel’s international art collection is also noteworthy, including specially commissioned artworks such as Jonathan Adler’s hippo installations and a four-storey graffiti mural on the exterior.

Couples will also adore the food offerings in and around the hotel and exclusive access to the rooftop infinity pool. Few things compare to sitting side by side in comfy poolside loungers, sipping cocktails in the sunshine. Or watching sunset over the Singapore skyline at Cloud 9 after a day of shopping and sightseeing around this fabulous metropolis.

The clincher? You’ll have the city in the palm of your hand. Couples can curate a romantic Singapore itinerary from the comfort of this sky-high urban sanctuary.
