Accommodation

Each cottage is hidden in its own separate enclave within the rainforest, offering complete seclusion. With spectacular views of fern gullies and a private bushland lake, the private hideaways are utterly romantic – the only sound you'll hear here is birdsong and the sound of the nearby babbling Hermitage Creek. Your only neighbours? Wombats, kookaburras, wallabies, echidnas, colourful parrots and cockatoos, and even the illusive platypus. This is the place for a laid-back Australian escape.

Dining
At Woodlands we understand that guests rarely want to leave their cottage once they have arrived as fireside dining in winter and alfresco dining on the deck in summer are so popular. We have enhanced the experience by making high quality chef-prepared meals available. We include linen table napkins and mood-enhancing candles to add to the experience.

The Yarra Valley is a world-class, world-renowned wine region, reminiscent of Bordeaux or Burgundy in the South of France, or the Tuscany region of Northern Italy. It is a place of unspoilt pristine beauty, where the water and the air are clean and crisp, and the views are spectacular. Visit the Marysville region to be a positive part of its regeneration. Head outdoors for a scenic walk or relax with a glass of Victorian wine and a fabulous meal of fine seasonal produce.
