If your ideal date-night involves a movie and a cosy spot, don’t miss catching a flick at this unique popup cinema. The biggest cinema of its kind in the world, Mov’In Bed Outdoor Cinema is returning to Sydney this November after a popular season last year. Perfect for couples seeking a fantastic night out with a difference, it’s sure to impress film-buffs and romantics alike.
Running until February 2019 in the city’s Entertainment Quarter, Mov’In Bed will screen a mix of beloved classics (like Love Actually, Life is Beautiful and Beetlejuice) and new blockbusters (including A Star is Born, First Man and Bad Times at the El Royale) throughout the summer season. And, keeping things beautifully laid-back, 150 comfortable beds with pillows and blankets will replace traditional seats – snuggle up, buttercups!
Adding to it all, Mov’In Bed also has the movie snacks covered, offering a special ‘bed delivery’ service. Partnering with the acclaimed Rockpool Dining Group, the cinema will bring enticing fare from Fratelli Fresh, Bavarian Bier Café and Burger Project to couples’ beds. Just want something small? The onsite bar will also serve wine, Champagne, ice cream and popcorn – we’ll take one of everything, thanks!
Ticket prices start at $9 per person. To find out more or to book your spot, visit the Mov’In Bed website here.
