World Expeditions has launched four new fully supported cycling itineraries through Vietnam, ranging from a five-day ride through the Mai Chau to Pu Luong mountain region to a 17-day journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi covering approximately 735 kilometres of coastline, countryside and mountain passes.

The new range follows a sharp rise in interest from Australian travellers: the operator reports a 49% increase in Vietnam page views on its website, alongside 88% for Thailand and 85% for Indonesia, pointing to growing appetite for active travel in destinations close to home. E-bikes are available across all departures, and group sizes are capped at 16. Each trip runs with a full local crew covering guides, mechanics, drivers and luggage transfers, with a support vehicle throughout.

The four itineraries cover different slices of the country. The 13-day Ho Chi Minh City to Hue journey runs by e-bike; the 10-day Ho Chi Minh City to Hoi An option covers the central coast; the Mai Chau to Pu Luong five-day ride takes in the northern highlands. The 17-day full-country route passes through the Central Highlands, along coastal roads, over the Hai Van Pass and into the rural north via Mai Chau, Pu Luong and Ninh Binh before finishing in Hanoi.
