Set to be completed within the next 12 months, the Litchfield National Park upgrades will see new areas of the 15,00-square-kilometre park open to visitors. What does that mean for travellers? Five new swimming spots and waterfalls, three new campgrounds and 40 kilometres of new four-wheel drive tracks. Get ready, adventure-seekers.
Situated 90 minutes southeast of Darwin, Litchfield National Park already boasts an array of incredible attractions, including bushwalking tracks, picnic grounds, scenic outlooks and the challenging 39-kilometre Tabletop Track.
