Okay lovely readers, we don’t want to be the voice of doom, but when it comes to taking holiday selfies please be careful!

According to Condé Nast Traveler, so far in 2015 selfies are more dangerous than sharks. Yup, more people have died this year posing for the perfect pic than from Jaws-related incidents. The fact that there’s a Wiki page on selfie deaths pretty much says it all.

Seriously guys, no photo is worth it. Unless you’re sure it’s going to be 100% safe, maybe stick to shots of your feet in the sand and cocktails at sunset.
