It’s no secret that Cuba has quickly become one of the hottest destinations on the travel radar – thanks Obama! So it’s also no surprise that cruise liners are getting in on the action and offering incredible voyagers to the Caribbean island.
Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Sky will make her maiden call in the capital city of Havana this may, opening its doors to Cuba’s natural beauty, warm people and historical treasures.
The cruise liner will operate weekly roundtrip cruises from Miami to Cuba, sailing a total of 53 four-day voyages, with 52 including an overnight stay in the historical and culture-rich capital.
“Our cruises to Cuba offer our guests a unique opportunity to engage in true cultural immersion with the freedom and flexibility to explore this destination on their own timetable and as they choose,” said Andy Stuart, president and chief executive officer for Norwegian Cruise Line.
