Take a trip to beautiful Byron Bay and beat the winter blues for an exclusive VIP food lovers’ weekend.
Hosted by Tawnya Bahr from Straight to the Source food tours, this delicious VIP weekend of food, wine and leisure is part of the inaugural Byron Bay Fine Food & Beverage Festival, being held on Saturday 3 June in the grounds of the award-winning Elements of Byron resort.
Featuring a stellar programme of foodie events featuring Australia’s best chefs, producers, food artisans, wine makers, distillers and brewers, the VIP Food Lovers’ Weekend Package also includes a two-night stay (including breakfast) at Elements of Byron.

Friday 2 June – The Mixed Dozen Gala Dinner
The Gala Dinner features 12 outstanding chefs, including Darren Robertson and Mark Labrooy from Three Blue Ducks, Ben Devlin from Paper Daisy and Sean Connelly from Balcony Bar and Oyster Co. These chefs will also be working alongside 12 Australian wineries to help provide perfect pairings for the cuisine on offer. The dinner will take place at your home for the weekend, Elements of Byron. The Mixed Dozen Gala Dinner promises to be a gastronomical extravaganza and is something you’d be crazy to miss!
Saturday 3 June – 8:30am-11am: Food Tour to Bangalow
Head for the hinterland towards the charming village of Bangalow, where Tawnya from Straight to the Source will take you on a guided tour of the weekly Bangalow Farmers’ Market. With experience running food tours for chefs, hospitality professionals and foodies all around Australia, this tour is sure to be not only educational but fun and full of surprises and inspiration.
Saturday 3 June – 11am-7pm: Byron Bay Fine Food & Beverage Festival
After enjoying the food tour through the Bangalow Farmers’ markets, return to Elements of Byron for the inaugural Byron Bay Fine Food & Beverage Festival. VIP packages for the festival have a tonne of excellent features including:
