Historic City of Ahmadabad, India

Dating back to the 15th century, the walled city of Ahmadabad features incredible architecture, plus ancient mosques, tombs and Hindu and Jain temples. A snapshot of urban life in the time of Sultan Ahmad Shah, the city continued to flourish as the capital of the State of Gujarat for six centuries, up to the present.
