Escaping to the tropical paradise is now even more tempting

Here's another excuse to escape to a tropical island for your next getaway (like you need one). Giving couples more choice when planning their travels, Qantas has resumed flights to Fiji after 20 years. Flying to Nadi four times a week, the new direct service has been added due to an increase in demand. We can see why – who wouldn't want to chill out in this exotic paradise?

Helping the Qantas group to offer more than 75,000 seats to couples, the new flights add to Jetstar's direct services. A checked baggage allowance, inflight entertainment and food and drinks are all included in travellers' fares.

Qantas International CEO Alison Webster says that this latest offering is sure to make for amazing holidays. "The combination of a Qantas and Jetstar schedule means we can provide more options to a destination that caters to different budgets and tastes, with good interstate connections for passengers travelling from other parts of Australia, and more opportunities for Qantas Frequent Flyers to earn points," says Webster.
