The Sofitel Queenstown Resort & Spa has given its lobby and reception a makeover

There's no denying the feeling you get when you walk into a super-stylish hotel lobby and get excited for what's to come. Sure to give couples that same feeling, the Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa has transformed its expansive lobby and reception area into a glamorous, dazzling space.

Featuring a bright colour palette and gold accents, the area now boasts sumptuous touches like an impressive art collection and Christian Lacroix armchairs. Referencing Queenstown's gold mining past, the pièce de résistance is an embellishment artwork on the hotel's 100 year-old Steinway piano. Created by celebrated contemporary Kiwi artist Anna Leyland, it fuses old-world flair with contemporary style.

The space features an eye-catching colour palette, gold accents and an impressive art collection

Known for its luxurious style, the Sofitel Queenstown has been named in Conde Nast Traveler's Top Hotels in Australia and New Zealand: Readers' Choice Awards. To find out more about the hotel or to make a booking, visit the Softel Queenstown Hotel & Spa website here
