Spicers Retreats' beautiful Queensland properties have provided the perfect setting for romance for a while, and now they'll set the stage for a few more exciting love stories. The luxury accommodation group has partnered with Queensland Ballet for a series of spectacular experiences and performances between August and December 2018.
At Spicers Hidden Vale Retreat in Grandchester, Spicers Tamarind Retreat in Maleny and Spicers Peack Lodge in Maryvale, Queensland Ballet will perform adaptions of La Bayadare, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker and Cinderella. Sure to impress foodies, unique culinary experiences will be tailored to match the ballets. "Guests can expect a bespoke experience, with degustation menus from our hatted restaurants to match the accompanying performance – such as a Golden Goose egg dessert to accompany Swan Lake at Spicers Hidden Vale," says Spicers Retreats Owner Jude Turner.
Topping it all off, there'll also be intimate Q&A sessions with Queensland Ballet's talented dancers and fabulous experiences like Champagne masterclasses. "The Queensland Ballet productions will be performed as a series of mesmerising pas de dues, set in stunning natural surroundings," says Queensland Ballet Artistic Director Li Cunxin.
Tickets are limited for these events. To find out more or to book, visit the Spicers Retreats website here.
