The glittering city of Macao has become even more dazzling, with Amor Macau lighting up the city with a spectacular light festival.

Held every night until the end of the year, the Macao Light Festival 2017 illuminates Macao's streets, from the steps of the iconic Ruins of St Paul's to the cobblestone paths near the Taipa Houses Museum.

Organised by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the free-to-attend festival features colourful light installations, interactive games and projection mapping. Also including a light art exhibition, outdoor converts an outdoor film screening and a special Light Festival dinner, the Macao Light Festival 2017 a highlight on the city's events calendar.

The lights are switched on each evening between 7 and 10pm, with the major projection mapping taking place at the Ruins of St Paul’s, St Anthony’s Church and St Lazarus Church. Interactive games also take place at the Ruins of St Paul’s and St Lazarus Church while outdoor concerts will are held at the Anim' Art Nam Van Lake on Saturday nights.
