Foodies, you're going to want to add Australia's outback to your must-visit list, with an exciting dining experience coming soon.
Running daily from 22 October 2017 to 24 March 2018 at the Northern Territory's Ayres Rock Resort, Mayu Wiru (translating to 'beautiful flavour' in Pitjantjatjara) is a premium culinary event that will celebrate the ancient flavours of Indigenous Australia. Available for a maximum of 16 diners per sitting, the experience begins with Champagne and bush tucker-inspired canapés at a private lookout within the grounds of the resort's Sails in the Desert Hotel, followed by a wine-paired three-course dinner in its private dining room.
Topping all this, diners will be transported to a dune-top for a nightcap and panoramic views of the breathtaking Field of Light Uluru art exhibition and a guided talk on the southern sky. A spellbinding sight featuring more than 50,000 tiny coloured lights spread over the base of Uluru, Field of Light Uluru will be open to diners for a private 30-minute escorted walk – a once-in-a-lifetime outback adventure those who attend won't soon forget.
Prices start at $295 per person, including return hotel transport, full menu, matched wines and entertainment. To find out more or to book, visit the website here.
