Kenya is fast becoming the hottest destination for 2016 with the Kenya Tourist Board recently reporting a near 20 percent growth in Australian visitor numbers to Kenya in 2016.

Bench Africa General Manager, Martin Edwards commented that he wasn’t surprised to learn of these statistics with the company experiencing a an upturn in both Africa enquiries and bookings over the last 7 months, mostly in bookings to Kenya.

“Kenya has always been a premier destination for both beach and bush; the country offers rich culture, dramatic landscapes, incredible wildlife and welcoming, friendly people. It is fantastic to see travel confidence on the up! Kenya has always been the home of the authentic safari and we very much look forward to the country reaching its full potential,” Edwards said.
