4. Ibra Souq 

While it might not be quite the same over here in Australia, in Oman shopping is considered a job for men, not women. Not at this gorgeous souq, though! Ibra Souq is also known as the Women’s Market, and it’s held every Wednesday in the town of Ibra. 

Each week, women flock to the market to buy all their essentials – and as a women-only market, it’s certainly a unique glimpse into another side of Oman’s romantic culture.
