Bali’s Seminyak certainly isn’t lacking stylish beach clubs, but there’s a new offering on its way that’s set to raise the standard. The biggest project to date from the group behind the iconic Motel Mexicola and Bondi Beach’s Bucket List, Tropicola will feature a beach club (obviously), plus a restaurant, rooftop bar and hotel. Pack your bags, people.
Set to be located on 7,000 square-metres of pristine beachfront, the exciting new hangout will be just metres away from W Bali-Seminyak, Potato Head and Alila Seminyak. With sweeping views of the Indian Ocean, Tropicola Beach Club is the first stage of the new addition and will open this coming August. Expect sun beds, cocktails, slick service and Mexicola-inspired style.
Over the following year, the next two stages will roll out, beginning with a 60-seat restaurant and a rooftop bar and event space that will look out over the Bukit peninsula. Capping it all off, the 60-room hotel will offer fun, accessible luxury, with room rates from $100 a night.
