The dog days are (almost) here in Toowoomba

Dog-loving couples, if you can’t imagine leaving your furbaby at home while on holiday, treat yourselves to a short break in Queensland Toowoomba this September. A beloved event for generations, the city’s Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers is back in 2018 and is inviting couples to bring along their four-legged friends!

Running from September 26 to 30, the festival will feature a dog-friendly itinerary for the first time. From walking along mural-decorated lane ways and visiting off-leash parks and to grabbing a puppacino at a pup-loving cafe, there’s plenty to enjoy.

Many pet-friendly accommodation options have also got in on the festivities, offering a comfortable place for couples and their furbabies to stay. Of course, the main attraction will be Toowoomba’s many bloom-filled parks – the perfect setting for an Insta photoshoot, if you ask us.
