If you’re seeking an authentic experience for your next holiday, set your sights for The Anam in Vietnam’s picturesque Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula. The resort is now offering unique ‘A Day in the Life’ experiences that are sure to make for an amazing trip – perfect for those seeking more than just another selfie in front of a landmark.

After travelling to the resort’s neighbouring countryside, couples can meet and spend the day with a local Vietnamese family, enjoying plenty of fabulous cultural activities. It all kicks off with fresh Banh Mi baguettes for breakfast at the host family’s favourite local bakery, followed by traditional Vietnamese iced coffee at a cafe – the perfect start to the day, if you ask us.

There’s also a shopping trip to the markets to get involved in, plus a special cooking class at the host family’s home where couples can learn how to make Vietnamese family recipes that have been passed down over the generations. Expect delicious dishes like bò nướng lá lốt(grilled beef in betel leaf), bún bò Huế (Hue-style beef noodle soup) and bánh xèo (crispy Vietnamese pancakes). Couples will even be given a special recipe book filled with the recipes they learned before heading back to The Anam, capping off a truly sensational day.

The Anam’s ‘A Day in the Life’ Cultural Cooking Tour is offered daily from 9am and includes transfers by car or Vespa, tour guide, entrance fees, meals, drinks and insurance. To find out more about the experience or to make a booking, visit The Anam’s website here
