Aiming to promote Thailand as a world-class wedding destination, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched a number of exciting campaigns for 2017.
To kick off the year, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) rolled out its first campaign, promoting Thailand as a wedding destination and the country’s incredible wedding organisers. ‘Thailand Wedding Destiny’ offered nine lucky couples from nine countries the chance to win a wedding in the Land of Smiles. The prize included the opportunity to have both western and Thai-style weddings, within four regions of Thailand. The winning Australian couple chose the luxurious five-star Intercontinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort. What an incredible way to celebrate their wedding – and no planning required!
Bringing together hundreds of high-end destination wedding planners under the one roof, TAT will also be hosting the 4th Annual Destination Wedding Planners Congress in Phuket from 2-4 May. Everything from extravagant hotels, resorts and chateaus to leading wedding suppliers and creative partners will be part of this exciting event, which is expected to attract 450 delegates from all around the world. Collaborating with partners and exhibitors throughout the year is something TAT is looking forward to, as it continues to promote Thailand as a world wedding destination.
