Film-buffs, there’s another reason to visit exciting Hong Kong this year. Following three years of redevelopment, the city’s famous Avenue of Stars has reopened! Now a stylish, revitalised urban space, the project invites couples to get to know some of China’s most iconic stars.

First opened in 1982 and modelled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Avenue of Stars features 117 handprints of famous celebrities, including the likes of Crazy Rich Asians‘ Michelle Yeoh and Jackie Chan. Helping visitors to learn more about the renowned names, special QR codes reveal information and clips from their films when scanned.

Situated along Hong Kong’s picturesque Victoria Harbour, it’s also where you can get a photo with (statues of) Bruce Lee and singer Anita Mui using augmented reality technology – #ShamelessSelfie.

Great for picking up a souvenir from your travels, kiosks and mobile carts at the site also sell local brands, like Mei Lok Store, Ho Cha, POS Talk and Tiny. There’s also exclusive limited-edition AOS products and Bruce Lee souvenirs available.
