Shangri-La Hotels are about to open what will undoubtedly become one of London’s most luxurious, prestigious hotels – Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard.

The 306-metre-high, glass-clad Shard is located on the historic South Bank of the River Thames and will be the tallest hotel in Western Europe and the first high-rise hotel in London, occupying levels 34 to 52 of the 72-storey Shard. Couples staying at this amazing hotel will enjoy breathtaking views – unmatched by any other hotel in London – in all directions.

Marvel at iconic landmarks such as St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament. A contemporary interior design complements Renzo Piano’s masterful architecture. There is an extensive collection of original artworks (a mix of acclaimed Asian and British artists), and a spectacular grand staircase that sweeps across double length floor‑to‑ceiling windows, linking levels 34 and 35 within the hotel’s sky lobby. Subtle Asian tones have been applied as a nod to Shangri-La’s Asian heritage.

As if all of that is not enough to entice honeymooners to London, The Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London boasts 202 guest-rooms and suites which are amongst the largest in the city, ranging from 30 to 188 square metres. Due to the unique shape of The Shard, rooms are individual in layout and design.

However, all feature floor‑to‑ceiling windows and unrivalled views across the city, marble-clad bathrooms with heated floors, separate bathtubs, Acqua di Parma amenities and mirrors with integrated television screens.
