Everyone talks about Antarctica. But just across the Drake Passage, the Chilean Fjords of Patagonia stretch through a landscape of hanging glaciers, sheer cliffs and narrow waterways that comparatively few travellers ever reach — and Scenic Eclipse is returning there in 2027 with a limited series of voyages.

Wildlife encounters are a constant: humpback and blue whales, Magellanic and Humboldt penguins, sea lions and Andean condors, often with barely another vessel in sight.
Beyond the glaciers, the Chilean Fjords hold their own surprises. The remote community of Puerto Edén, the dramatic English Narrows and the island of Chiloé — with its brightly painted stilt houses and UNESCO World Heritage-listed wooden churches — give the region a cultural dimension that Antarctica cannot match.
