Foodie friends, this one’s for you! Pack your picnic blanket and head to the glorious grounds of Spicers Tamarind Retreat for an afternoon of delicious Asian street food and local beverages at the annual Sunshine Coast Asian Food Festival, Saturday 22 February 1pm-6pm.
A peek at the Asian Street Food menu has just been released, created by The Tamarind’s highly acclaimed Head Chef Daniel Jarrett. We love this line-up: Asian style pork taco, Chinese bao bun with Xinjiang-style lamb, pad thai chicken wings, tuna bowl with sushi rice, and an Asian-inspired gelato/sorbet by Maleny Food Co.
Your festival ticket ($99) includes five Asian dishes and a choice of two beverages from Dal Zotto wines, Brouhaha and/or Noosa’s Fortune Distillery along with cooking demonstrations and live entertainment. Upgrade to enjoy a riesling masterclass with Spicers own sommelier Peter Marchant.
