Southern Ocean Lodge has announced South Australia’s favourite foodie, Maggie Beer, will return to to lead the island’s KI Food Safari next August. Combining the elegant cliff-top luxury of Southern Ocean Lodge with daily expeditions to local gourmet producers, the KI Food Safari will run from July 28 to 4 August, 2018.
Set to be a highlight of the event is a special dinner created by The Lane Vineyard’s Executive Chef James Brinklow, featuring wines from the acclaimed Adelaide Hills winery.
An impressive list of culinary talents will be involved in the KI Food Safari. Southern Ocean Lodge Executive Chef Asher Blackford will lead the safari alongside Maggie Beer, while Former Lodge Chef Tim Bourke (who conceived the Baillie Lodges local-produce philosophy) will also make a guest appearance.
