Cruise-lovers, we’ve got good news for you. Royal Caribbean will be launching a brand new ship next year, while Queensland will be getting its own home-ported vessel. We’re certainly on board (pun intended) with it all!
Introducing a brand new ship to Sydney in 2020, the cruising group will offer guests travel aboard the luxurious Serenade of the Seas. The younger sister to Radiance of the Seas, the ship will sail from New South Wales’s capital and include touches like 18 dining venues, bars and lounges, plus a rock-climbing wall, nine-hole mini golf course and three pools – kidults, this one’s for you.
Australians on the east coast will also have plenty to enjoy, with Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas making its way from Sydney to Brisbane next year. Adding to the excitement, the ‘culinary ship’ (as it’s known) will call the Queensland capital home, basing itself at the city’s new International Cruise Terminal. The ship will also receive a fresh multi-million-dollar makeover, promising travellers an indulgent experience.
