Luxury has a new address with the completely transformed 4.5 star resort that is Seahaven Noosa. Boasting almost 20 percent of Noosa’s beach frontage, and offering a contemporary design complete with luxurious furnishings and amenities, Seahaven Noosa is a couples’ paradise.
Located on the world famous Hastings Street with a proliferation of renowned dining venues, cafes and boutique shopping, you can enjoy the very best of Noosa at your door. Literally park your car and leave it, writes Natalie Bosschieter, Holidays for Couples reader, who stayed in the one bedroom penthouse at Seahaven Noosa.
Arriving at Seahaven Noosa we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff and quickly shown our penthouse. Once inside we ran around like little kids in a candy shop; me, smelling and sampling the luxurious welcome products by Appelles Apothecary range. Meanwhile my husband quickly surveyed the view from the extensive balcony, opened the complimentary sparkling and poured two glasses. We then went straight up to the rooftop terrace, which boasted a six-person spa, outdoor shower and spacious outdoor kitchen with a view many other resorts cannot offer. A fabulous way to kick off a romantic weekend.
As we were enjoying the grandeur of our one bedroom penthouse, we decided to make use of the full kitchen and stroll down Hasting street, buy a few small goods, more wine and pick up a gourmet takeaway pizza from Zachary’s. Why go out on our first night when there was such an amazing penthouse to be enjoyed. The superiority of the furnishings, fittings, beds and linen truly make this an award winning resort. Not to forget the absolute beach front views and private access, four heated pools and spas, covered barbeque areas, grassed courtyards, onsite gymnasium and daily servicing.
For breakfast it was hard to go past Berardo’s Bistro on the Beach (a five minute stroll on the beachfront boardwalk) and opposite the famous Bistro C. And what better way to follow breakfast than by indulging ourselves at the renowned Ikatan Balinese Spa. In a double treatment room, both receiving an authentic Balinese massage, body scrub and foot pamper; this is not a ‘maybe,’ it-is-a-must.
Once back at Seahaven, via Gaston for lunch and a spot of shopping, we made use of the sunshine and enjoyed a dip in one of Seahaven’s four pools and spent the afternoon relaxing. I would highly recommend packing your walking shoes to take advantage of the boardwalk and if you are feeling really energetic – a hike up to the National Park. If you and your sweetheart would like dinner with a difference, book a table at the floating Noosa Boathouse Restaurant for true waterfront dining in Noosaville.
It was so easy to forget the hum-drum of home, when we were both utterly consumed with each other – so much so we completely forgot to call our three children on our first night! For an unforgettable romantic weekend staying in a stylish resort with all the trimmings, a combination of sun-soaked relaxation, boutique shopping and enviable bars and restaurants within a short stroll, look no further than Seahaven Noosa. Why not escape this Valentine’s Day? Seahaven Noosa are offering $260 off their ultimate romance package!
