Kyneton has one of Victoria’s best collections of historic bluestone buildings, something which makes this town as attractive as it is interesting. Shop for curiosities and antiques at Kabinett or check out The Stockroom which showcases Australian artists and designers: it’s easy to while away an afternoon exploring the interesting range of galleries and stores.
Melbourne foodies have been known to drive all the way to Kyneton for lunch, the restaurants are simply that good. Visit Source Diningfor fine fare, share a wood fired pizza at Pizza Verde or experience a little Middle Eastern magic at Mr Carsisi. Just remember to book a table.
