Qantas to make it easier to visit one of Australia’s most romantic destinations

Direct flights from Adelaide and Melbourne to Kangaroo Island later this year will make it easier to visit one of Australia’s most remote and picturesque destinations.

Commencing 4 December 2017, Qantas’ new Kangaroo Island service will offer three return flights weekly from Adelaide, as well as five weekly flights during the 2017/18 summer-peak.

The new service means visitors to the island will have more options for aligning their regional flights with both interstate and international flights, as well as the ability to check through luggage and choose to use or earn points on frequent flyer loyalty programs.

With spellbinding scenery and unique wildlife, Kangaroo Island is a nature-lover’s paradise with incredibly romantic accommodation. A stylish option is Southern Ocean Lodge, a luxury property located on the island’s far south west coast. Now more accessible for couples, the lodge showcases what makes the island so magical: dramatic scenery, fascinating culture and relaxing seclusion.
