In Travel News by The H4C Team

Art-lovers and gourmands, there’s an exclusive new dining experience to add to the bucket-list. One of the world’s most iconic hotels, The Peninsula Hong Kong is inviting couples to dine inside an artwork. How’s that for a memorable night out?

Creating an impressive setting for sharing a five-course set menu, ‘The Wonder Room’ by artist Zhi-gang Lu has been created using meticulous woodworking techniques as a modern take on a Chinese teahouse. On the outside it looks like a simple box; inside, couples will feel as if they’re being enveloped within a complex egg-like structure – amazing!

Indulge in gourmet dishes like Pan-fried foie gras with glazed plums and balsamic and red wine loaf bread

Foodies will also love the sensational dishes on offer, like Slow-cooked salmon with caviar, root vegetables, sesame and beurre blanc, and Fine meringue with cassis coulis and chestnut puree. Part of the hotel’s Art in Resonance programme, the dining experience is sure to be a feast for the senses.
