Vietnam, Asia
Description:

At a Glance:
With an idyllic perch on one of southern Vietnam’s most spectacular beaches, The Anam Mui Ne is a 21st Century resort with 19th Century appeal and profound echoes of the Indochine era.  The 1.2-hectare resort features elegant rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant and grill, a Vietnamese restaurant and bar, and a beautiful, intimate bar by the beach called Saigon Bar. Other world-class facilities include a five treatment-room spa, two spacious swimming pools – one freshwater and the other saltwater – a water sports centre, fitness centre and yoga room.

Location:
The resort occupies a spectacular piece of frontage on the East Sea at Mui Ne, which is otherwise renowned as one of the most seductive beach destinations in southern Vietnam and a mecca for water sports enthusiasts from beachcombing to wind-surfing.

The lush 1.2-hectare property is situated at 18 Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street and is nestled among Mui Ne’s main strip of restaurants, shops and more. Traditional boats and coracles come together at the nearby Mui Ne fishing village, making for a riot of colour and a hive of activity.

Couples on a romantic getaway will love:
The Anam Mui Ne’s team are on call to craft a private and personalised dining experience for two to mark an unforgettable occasion. Options include toasting a life event as the sun sets in shoreline intimacy, dining under a blanket of stars on an outdoor terrace or hiding away in luxurious accommodation seclusion. The handpicked locations are accompanied by exquisite menu selections as well as a private chef and waiter. Also, the resort's Sweet Dreams A La Carte Concept offers king-sized Sealy mattresses, plush 300 thread-count cotton Irish bed linen and goose-down pillows from The Anam Mui Ne’s pillow menu.

Accommodation:
A total of 127 rooms and suites showcase Vietnamese craftsmanship, evoke a nostalgic ambience and open up to views of the ocean, lush gardens and the resort’s swimming pools. The rooms and suites range in size from 40 to 142 square meters across six accommodation categories. All of the accommodations feature king-sized and/or twin beds, natural colour palettes and locally sourced materials.  The accommodations are accentuated by hardwood custom-built furniture such as leather-bound tables, that add to the resort’s old-world feel. The hardwood finishes on much of the furniture are sourced from sustainably cultivated forests. The bathrooms in the rooms and suites are adorned with either grey slate stone tiling or customized encaustic mosaic tiling and feature deep soaking clawfoot tubs and separate rain showers.

Best room for two:
The Anam Mui Ne’s Private Pool Suite is among the resort’s leading accommodation categories. The 142sqm Private Pool Suites have their own tranquil 22sqm private pools that are 1.3m deep and are complemented with terraces decked with sun loungers. The resort offers private BBQs to themes ranging from seafood to premium meat to vegetarian or a mixture at these suites featuring private pools. The suites also have private in-room check-in with an Ipad.

Spa & wellness:
The Anam Spa has five treatment rooms, including three VIP rooms designed for couples - each equipped with two massage beds and a deep-soaking bathtub - as well as two single rooms, two steam rooms, saunas, indoor Jacuzzis and a beauty salon.  The spa’s highly skilled therapists pamper guests with non-clinical treatments that follow a ‘high-touch, low-tech’ approach, infusing ancient techniques from the East with Western healing practices.

Dining and leisure:
Comprising an all-day dining restaurant and grill called The Indochine, beachside restaurant and bar Lang Viet Restaurant and Bar, a classical lobby bar, an elegant bar near the beach called Saigon Bar, and 24-7 in-room dining, the resort’s dining landscape serves offerings ranging from gourmet delicacies to age-old home style cooking and street food-inspired classics. The Anam Mui Ne encourages guests to make the most of its natural surrounds through kitesurfing, jet skiing, sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, bodyboarding, Kymera body boarding and surfing at Mui Ne beach.
