The Anam Cam Ranh

Address:
Vietnam, Asia
Description:

At a Glance:
One of Vietnam’s top coastal resorts, The Anam Cam Ranh design was inspired by Vietnam’s bygone Indochine era. The resort’s romantic appeal draws on this particular epoch, evoking a nostalgic tone with its imperial-style roofs, lanterns, big-bellied water vases, decorative pools, customized mosaic floor tiles and stone pathways. Sublime accommodations include the Honeymoon Villa replete with a private pool, jacuzzi, and steam and sauna room.

Location:
The Anam Cam Ranh is the first truly luxurious property in up-and-coming Cam Ranh, a pristine coastal destination removed from the hustle and bustle of nearby beach city Nha Trang. Situated on the northern part of Cam Ranh peninsula, the distance between Cam Ranh International Airport and The Anam Cam Ranh is less than 20 minutes by car. The resort is easily accessible from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi thanks to numerous departure and arrival flights daily.

Couples on a romantic getaway will love:
The lush 12-hectare is shaded by some 3000 palm trees and overlooks the white sands and turquoise waters of Long Beach on Vietnam’s scenic Cam Ranh peninsula. Traditional sampans and coracles still ply these waters and picturesque islands loom just offshore. A dramatic headland named “Song Lo”, meaning the ‘wave next to the mountain’, rises up to the immediate north and west, highlighting the setting’s natural appeal. The resort has a raft of sustainability measures in place including its own 8500sqm sustainable farm onsite featuring a variety of vegetables, herbs and fruits.

Accommodation:
A total of 77 villas and 136 rooms and suites epitomise the ultimate in Vietnamese craftsmanship and offer picturesque views of the ocean, headlands, lush gardens and the resort’s swimming and decorative pools.  The villas, rooms and suites range in size from 50 to 267 square metres.  All of the accommodations are light and airy and feature king-sized and/or twin beds in the center of the bedroom, hardwood finishes from sustainably cultivated forests, and customized encaustic mosaic floor tiles, creating an atmosphere of old-world elegance. All of the bathrooms in the villas, rooms and suites are adorned with grey slate stone tiling and feature deep soaking tubs and separate rain showers.  Some bathrooms open to a private garden, and others can be partitioned from the rest of the interior space with folding, wooden doors. All villas feature terraces and/or balconies, and 25 of the villas have their own tranquil private swimming pools where The Anam Cam Ranh offers private BBQs to themes ranging from seafood to premium meat to vegetarian or a mixture.

The picture-perfect one-bedroom villas also each feature a separate living room and private terrace with sun loungers overlooking the glassy-surfaced 40-square-metre private pool. Complimentary daily afternoon tea is served in your choice of either the privacy of the villa, at The Colonial fine dining restaurant, amid the resort’s verdant gardens or on Long Beach. our different themed afternoon tea experiences are on offer - ‘Vietnamese’, ‘Asian’, ‘Classic’ and ‘Degustation’.

Lang Viet Restaurant & Bar serves delectable Vietnamese fare, complemented by a variety of cocktails. Affording the resort’s best view over the waterfront, The Beach Club is a casual setting with ice-cold beer and a variety of Western comfort meals and snack foods.
