Opera Australia to have first-ever performance at Uluru

Whether you’re keen opera lovers or you’re just looking for an amazing experience, add this exciting event to your schedule. For the first time ever, Opera Australia will be performing an exclusive concert in Australia’s spiritual heart, with Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and Bruce Munro’s Field of Light Uluru as the backdrop. This is a one-off event, people – do not miss!

Taking place Saturday, November 2, the concert will see some of Opera Australia’s finest singers perform famous arias from Puccini, Verdi, Bizet, Rossini and more, accompanied by a chamber orchestra. Sure to make for magical memories, the captivating backdrop will come alive as night falls, with Field of Light Uluru’s 50,000 glass spheres illuminating in the distance. Dream trip? We think so.

There’ll also be a special Opera at Uluru Welcome Dinner on the Friday (November 10), with Champagne, canapés, a three-course meal and a performance from one of Opera Australia’s stars. Or, book yourselves the indulgent Opera at Uluru Starlit Dinner on the Sunday (November 3) and enjoy a three-course native bush tucker-inspired dinner on a remote dune-top, under the starts. Adding to it all, an Indigenous cultural performance will be held, plus an insightful star talk.
