Cue the tropical cocktails! In some welcome good news for the travel industry, the prestigious World Travel Awards just honoured their top picks for 2020.
In the Oceania category, some of our favourite escapes were on the podium including the gorgeous InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa which was named Fiji’s Leading Resort and Fiji’s Leading Hotel Suite for its hilltop sanctuary The Natadola Suite. InterContinental Hotels & Resorts picked up nine major accolades including Oceania’s Leading Hotel Suite for the InterContinental Sydney’s decadent Level 29 retreat, the Presidential Opera Suite.
Over in sunny Samoa, the idyllic Seabreeze Resort picked up Oceania’s Most Romantic Resort for the second year in a row as well as Samoa’s Leading Resort. Private island getaway Iririki Island Resort & Spa scored Vanuatu’s Leading Resort while glorious hideaway The Havannah was named Vanuatu’s Leading Boutique Resort.
