The destination’s first national food celebration, Feast Matariki will showcase traditional Māori flavours throughout June and July. Featuring over 100 gourmet events across New Zealand’s major cities and regional areas, it’ll make for amazing holiday memories.

From special themed dinners and street parties to Matariki dish competitions and traditional hāngis, there’ll be plenty to whet couples’ appetites. Highlights include indulgent chocolate and whisky tastings in Dunedin, a five-course chef-prepared beer-matched dinner in Matakana and an exciting cooking safari in Hawkes Bay.
