New London-inspired popup laneway bar opens in Melbourne

In Travel News by The H4C Team

If experiencing the charms of London is high on your bucket-list but you’re not so keen on the long-haul flight, head over to Melbourne before April 2019.

Perfect for those wanting to sip Pimms punch on a warm day, a new London-inspired popup laneway bar has opened in the back alley of the five-star Pullman Melbourne Albert Park Hotel. We’ll raise a teacup to that!

It’s Pimms o’clock at this new London-inspired hangout

Opening each Wednesday to Friday until mid-2019, Lizzie’s Lane is set to be a popular hangout in the heart of the city. Serving up plenty of London-inspired bites, refreshing summer cocktails and classic British beverages, the bar keeps things relaxed with a beautiful garden setting – how very civilised.

Sure to make an appearance on your Insta feed, a unique mural by local street-artist Sheldon Headspeath featuring a British bulldog and an eye-catching Union Jack looks out over the scene. Possibly the only thing that could distract visitors from the colourful artwork is the fantastic offerings of share platters and creative tipples. Hogwarts Express Martini, anyone?

Generous share plates and delicious bites grace the menu
