New James Bond museum has a license to thrill

It may not be from Russia, but there’s plenty to love about this new museum opening in the mountains of Austria. A new James Bond-inspired cinematic installation, 007 Elements will be an interactive, immersive experience that puts visitors inside the world of one of history’s most famous fictional spies. We’d happily spend all our (money)pennies to go there.

007 Elements is set inside the summit of Austria’s Gaislachkogl Mountain

Built in Solden where Spectre was filmed, the museum is set to thrill Bond fans when it opens July 12. Featuring a range of installations inspired by the franchise (including displays of the tech used in the films and a hall that makes you feel as if you’re literally walking into one of the iconic opening titles sequences), the museum will offer visitors a special behind-the-scenes experience.

The museum’s building alone is an architectural wonder with an impressive view (to a kill). Set inside the summit of the Gaislachkogl Mountain, 007 Elements looks out over snow-capped peaks and is sure to entice those thinking of spectacular Austrian getaway. Why not – you only live twice.
