TV junkies going on holidays in the USA can get their ’flix fix at 35,000 feet, with Netflix and Virgin America joining forces to provide free in-flight WiFi access.
Available on Virgin America’s new ViaSat WiFi-equipped aircraft, passengers can stream shows like House of Cards and Orange Is The New Black to their phones, tablets and laptops at no cost – just like at home, but in a plane.
At this stage the service will only be offered until 2 March 2016, but watch this space as no doubt it’s the start of a new era in inflight entertainment.
