This year’s Tastings on Hastings is set to go out with a bang with celebrity chef Matt Moran headlining the three days of foodie events from November 6 to November 8.
Experience the inaugural Fire Water Festival and taste your way around 100 producers in this coastal paradise on a romantic getaway that will leave the senses satiated.
There will be a night time festival, celebrity chef dinners, cooking demonstrations, master classes and the popular main event. At the main event, couples will be able to sample new products, chat with producers, share tasting plates, shop for produce and enjoy the entertainment on the Town Green.
The festivities will kick off on November 6, with the foreshore coming alight with fire in the form of fire twirlers, lanterns, brassieres and torches. A cultural fusion of local art, musical street performers, night markets and an array of food stalls will be amongst the festivities.
For an intimate experience, Matt Moran will be hosting two fine-dining events at The Stunned Mullet restaurant. These five-course degustation dinners will focus on fresh, seasonal produce and be paired with matching wines in the true spirit of the event.
Now in its 13th year, Tastings on Hastings is one of the region’s premier events, drawing in more than 17,000 gourmands to the Port Macquarie Hastings region.
