Luxury Launch – Six Senses Douro Valley, Portugal

In Travel News by The H4C Team

A Six Senses resort located in a UNESCO World Heritage area in northern Portugal, that also happens to be the oldest wine-producing region in the world. Do we have your attention yet?

There are 41 guest bedrooms, nine suites and seven villas, plus swimming pools, a wine library and an organic garden that will supply the restaurant with fresh regional produce to create contemporary versions of Portuguese classics.

As well as the gorgeous views, another highlight will be the spa, with grape- and olive oil-based treatments in honour of the resort’s location, and even an Alchemy Bar where guests can help custom-blend their own masks and scrubs. A one-of-a-kind Forest Floating experience will also guide guests through a meditation practice suspended from trees.
