If you’re planning a New Zealand holiday for two, here’s some hotel news from across the ditch. Waterfront haven Park Hyatt Auckland has recently launched six luxurious (and very large) new suites, perfect for a romantic NZ sojourn.

Each offers plush inclusions and awesome water and skyline views through the hotel’s signature floor-to-ceiling windows. But if you really want to spoil yourselves, see the top-floor Presidential Suite. At a generous 245 sqm, it’s the largest hotel room of its kind in New Zealand — with additional space dedicated to a furnished wraparound balcony and private outdoor garden.

Soak up expansive vistas of Waitematā Harbour, Westhaven (Auckland’s harbour bridge), and across the skyline from inside and out. The living and dining areas are plush, the bedroom is huge, and the marble bathroom comes complete with a soaking tub and Aesop bath treats.

You’ll also have a full designer kitchen (don’t worry, you can hand cooking duties over to a personal chef if you feel like eating in), personal gym, and secure VIP access at your disposal.

If you’re considering a New Zealand honeymoon, this is one for the shortlist.

The Park Hyatt Auckland also scores serious points for location: right on the water’s edge with views across Wynyard’s Quarter’s Lighter Basin and out to Waitematā Harbour.
