7. Food, glorious food

Hawaii is known as one of the most culturally diverse regions in the world, resulting in equally diverse food.

You have to try Hawaiian favourites such as fresh ahi poke, kalua pork and laulau, but for a glamorous night out book yourselves a table at Vintage CaveChef Mavro, Alan Wong's Restaurant, Nobu Waikiki or any of the Roy's restaurants throughout Hawaii.

Enjoying a shaved ice treat by the beach is inevitable, while the much-loved (by the locals) Spam delicacies on offer are not for the faint of heart… or stomach.
