3. Catch a wave

You're in Hawaii: of course you're going to go surfing (or at least attempt it). For experienced surfers, make like the pros and head to Maui's North Shore, while beginners will find calmer waves at famous Waikiki Beach on the island of O'ahu, as well as a range of surf schools. Blasting surf rock on the journey over is non-negotiable.
