An important reminder for food-lovers: High Cheese is now in full swing at The Westin Melbourne’s Lobby Lounge!
This annual winter collab with Prahran Market’s beloved Maker & Monger offers three tiers of sweet and savoury cheesy delights using the finest quality varieties from around the globe. And with its open fireplace and plush club chairs, the Lobby Lounge is the perfect spot to indulge.
We are loving the sound of alpine cheese scones with white wine & Gippsland Jersey butter, L’Artisan Grand Fleuri brie layered with sautéed mushrooms and leeks in Oloroso sherry, andCoeur à la crème – a potted heart-shaped Schulz Quark with preserved summer berries. And that’s just a taste!
This year, South Australia’s Bird in Hand winery has also come to the party with a menu of perfectly matched wines, including a limited edition 2015 ‘Nest Egg’ Joy sparkling and 2009 ‘Nest Egg’ Cabernet Sauvignon.
High Cheese is served daily from 11am to 8pm in the Lobby Lounge for a limited time only, so grab your love and lock it in.
