“We’re going back… to the future!”

Fans of Marty McFly et al know the importance of 21 October 2015. It’s the date Doc Brown programmed into the Delorean at the end of Back To The Future – and seemed sooo far in the future at the time the movie came out, in 1985.

But now that date is upon us, and to celebrate the 30th anniversary celebration of one of the most beloved movies of all time – and Marty McFly’s arrival on 21 October – hundreds of fans will be descending on Los Angeles for a special event: “We’re Going Back”.

There’s too much going on to list, but if you’re going to be in LA from 21-25 October, here’s a teaser of what’s in store: tours of the Universal Studios backlot and original filming locations (visit the McFly home, climb the “Peeping Tom” tree and get a tardy slip at Hill Valley High); parties and outdoor movie screenings; and a special props and memorabilia auction. And don’t miss a recreation of the iconic 1995 “Enchantment under the Sea” dance. The band performing there? The Flux Capacitors.
