Brew-lovers, there’s good reason to pop over to Brisbane for a weekend away soon. Regarded as one of the world’s best beer festivals, the Great Australasian Beer SpecTAPular will be descending on Queensland’s capital, celebrating craft beers and ciders from across the country. Count. Us. In.
Debuting in Brisbane after winning over crowds in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, the event (April 27) will showcase 120 ‘festival beers and ciders’. Upping the festive atmosphere, there’ll be everything from an impressive rib-eating competition and a giant silent disco to fascinating guided tastings and a quirky beer-themed scavenger hunt.
Kidults will also love the roving live entertainment (including a circus extravaganza!) and beer hall games, while gourmands will be won over by the street food offerings and special beer-, cider- and food-pairing sessions.
Taking place at the Brisbane Entertainment and Convention Centre, GABS promises to be one seriously exciting event. To find out more or secure your tickets, visit the Great Australasian Beer SpecTAPular website here.
