Air Tahiti Nui has released a new airfare offering Australian travellers the ultimate way to travel to the United States, with a stopover in Tahiti one way and a seamless non-stop flight home.

Named the Pacific Loop, the new fare allows guests to make a stopover in Papeete en route to Los Angeles, with the convenience and value of one airfare. The return journey is a swift non-stop flight from Los Angeles to Sydney with American Airlines. The journey can also be reversed.

For the ultimate Pacific exploration, guests can also take advantage of a stopover in Auckland to combine three countries for the price of one.

The Pacific Loop from Sydney to Los Angeles via Auckland and Papeete is priced from $1599 in economy class and from $7999 in business class.

Air Tahiti Nui General Manager Australia New Zealand Alan Roman said the combination fare was a great way for Australians to explore the region.

“There are plenty of fantastic destinations between Australia and America so we’re encouraging holidaymakers to turn a long-haul journey into a fabulous adventure,” Mr Roman said.

“The Pacific Loop offers the chance to stagger the journey to the States with an idyllic stopover in paradise, which has the added bonus of softening any trans-Pacific jetlag, and then when it’s time to come home, our guests can enjoy the ease of a non-stop return flight.”
