Set on 1000 acres of private land, the Gibbston Valley Lodge & Spa features 24 villas overlooking the historic Le Maitre vineyard block and a central Lodge for seasonal fine dining and intimate wine experiences.

The beautifully appointed villas feature open-plan living, a secluded courtyard with vineyard views, and generous inclusions (think daily breakfast with bubbles, spa credits, and pre-dinner wine tastings). The onsite spa adds another layer of indulgence with three private treatment rooms, a sauna and secluded hot pools.

Explore the countryside on (complimentary) bicycles with a picnic lunch in tow, immerse in a range of wine-and-dine experiences, or retreat to your villa to enjoy a delicious drop on your private deck.

Four years in the making, Gibbston Valley Winery CEO Greg Hunt is thrilled to welcome the lodge’s first guests for the summer season.

“What we’ve created with the Lodge & Spa is a place of humble luxury, where guests truly feel welcome and taken care of, thanks to unexpected touches of indulgence and our personal concierge service,” says Greg.

“All while enjoying fine wine and food, which is at the heart of what we offer, with the spectacular Central Otago landscape as the backdrop.”

Just 20 minutes from Queenstown’s International Airport, you’ll have to best of the region at your doorstep, with shuttles available into Arrowtown and Queenstown.

Cheers!
